Like most of our vehicles the MEV Daytona™ includes a number of features as standard. Please take time to appreciate the teardrop design which runs throughout the body from the rear lights to the dash display on this popular model.

Design

The MEV Daytona™ has been designed to capture the spirit of a true American hot rod. In the past there have been many different interpretations of this classic look and we feel the MEV Daytona™ brings all of the best features together with its teardrop angles, chrome roll bars, sports wheels, digital dash, pipe edged seats and aluminium windscreen design.

Technical Quality

Like all MEV™ vehicles the MEV Daytona™ is built to a very high standard. The steel chassis is built with additional strength in all the critical areas and slowed down using hydraulic rear drum brakes. The competent suspension combined with tyre depth offers a smooth ride on both road ways and grass. The aluminium windscreen surround is machined to fit perfectly to the body’s outer edges.

Safety First

The steel chassis is designed to fit closely up to the outer body in all areas, providing maximum support. The feature chrome roll hoops behind both the driver and passengers act as an additional protection device and safety belts are available with the MEV Daytona™. Slowing down is not a problem with the large hydraulic rear brake system.

Performance

Distinct from traditional 48v systems on today’s market the Daytona™ utilises a 72v supply powering an efficient AC brushless motor giving impressive torque through to full speed. From the multi region approved on board charger the AC system provides greater efficiency giving the Daytona™ an impressive 60 + mile range per charge. The fully adjustable A-Frame front and semi-independent rear suspension has been built to automotive standards to ensure a comfortable yet sporty ride.
